A importância das práticas agrícolas para estabilidade de produção e resiliência de sistemas agrícolas

Agriculture plays a key role in the Brazilian economy, consolidating the country as one of the world's largest producers of agricultural commodities and services. This literature review aimed to analyze and discuss information already published on strategies to minimize climate risks, in order to update and deepen knowledge on the subject. To leverage agriculture, sustainability has become essential, integrating scientific knowledge with agricultural practices. In this context, the intensification of land use, combined with integrated systems such as Crop-Livestock Integration (CLI), Crop-Livestock-Forest Integration (CLFI) and Agroforestry Systems (AFS), has shown positive impacts on animal and plant productivity. One of the promising strategies is the use of agricultural consortia, which diversify production systems, promoting greater stability through the strengthening and preservation of ecological interactions. An innovative example is the Anticipate System, developed by Embrapa Maize and Sorghum. This technology allows the intercropping of second crop corn between the rows of soybeans still in the development phase, before the legume harvest. It concludes that CLFIs, AFSs, the No-Till System (NTS), intercropping and Agricultural Climate Risk Zoning (CRZ)demonstrate to be technologies that promote productivity maximization and climate risk reduction, increasing the resilience of agricultural systems in Brazil.
