IMPLEMENTATION OF INTEGRATED TRAINING IN A LANGUAGE INSTITUTION BY THE EXAMPLE OF THE DISCIPLINES “PRACTICAL COURSE OF SPANISH LANGUAGE” AND “COUNTRY STUDIES OF SPAIN”

The article discusses the techniques and methods for implementing interdisciplinary connec-tions in the process of integrating related disciplines in the course of mastering the content of practi-cal foreign language courses in higher education institutions and specialised faculties. Integration is understood as one of the central approaches to solving many educational problems, namely, the pro-cess of a connected whole in mastering practical and theoretical disciplines. In our case, we demon-strate the integration of such disciplines as “Practical Course of the Spanish Language” and “Re-gional Studies of Spain” for undergraduate students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of a ped-agogical university. The purpose of the article: based on the analysis of the theoretical prerequisites for the use of interdisciplinary integration, to demonstrate the possibilities of practical integration of the subject content of the disciplines mentioned above. The scientific novelty of the article lies in the develop-ment of a series of tasks to consolidate lexical and grammatical material using the topics “Esca-padas” and “Enigmas” as an example, as well as to automate conversational skills of the Spanish language, taking into account the theoretical and methodological principles of integrated learning. The research methods include studying scientific literature on teaching related sciences, ana-lysing theoretical prerequisites for using integrated learning technology in higher education educa-tional practice, and summarising the experience of practical application of language discipline inte-gration. The proposed tasks may be of interest to specialists in the field of teaching foreign lan-guages at language faculties and specialties. Based on the results of the practical testing analysis, a conclusion was made about the effectiveness of using integrated learning technology and prospects for further work within the framework of the selected issues were presented.
