Herramienta tecnológica para el desarrollo asociativo de productores lácteos en el departamento del Quindío

Livestock farming is one of the most important productive sectors of the nation's economy. Therefore, its current status is analyzed, taking into account associativity and competitiveness as axes for increasing the productivity of the dairy sector, and designing a sustainable technological tool for this purpose. Objective. The purpose of this research is to apply a technological tool to increase the development and competitiveness of the livestock sector in Quindío. Materials and methods. The analysis involved the participation of dairy and livestock producer associations from the municipalities of Filandia, Circasia, and Salento in Quindío. All users were characterized through interdisciplinary fieldwork and structured surveys, and a user-friendly technological tool was subsequently developed. From this, user needs and associativity were analyzed, and the technological tool was subsequently designed. Conclusion. The application of a sustainable and easy-to-use technological tool leads to increased competitiveness in the livestock municipalities of Quindío, while also motivating associativity and teamwork.
