Habilidades Blandas y Gamificación: Análisis Sistemático en la Formación y Práctica de Ingeniería de Software
In recent years, gamification has proven to be an effective strategy for enhancing processes in both the software industry and the training of human talent in Software Engineering (SE). This study focuses on a tertiary analysis of systematic reviews published between 2015 and 2024, aiming to understand how the impact of gamification as a strategic tool in SE has been addressed. A systematic mapping methodology was applied, structured in three phases: study planning, execution, and reporting of results. The analysis identified ten secondary studies, most of which highlight the potential of gamification to strengthen soft skills such as motivation, active participation, performance, and team collaboration. The most commonly used gamification elements include points, badges, and leaderboards, reflecting a trend in designing motivational experiences within educational and professional environments. While the reviewed studies report positive outcomes from the use of gamification strategies, the findings also reveal the need for further empirical research to validate the actual impact of gamification in specific collaborative contexts within software development. Therefore, a key future challenge is to consolidate the application of these techniques in SE, particularly in enhancing team-based dynamics and achieving more effective collaboration in development environments (2015–2024).
