Estado Actual de las Competencias Investigativas Prevalentes en Docentes del Nivel Primaria de Tacna, 2024
This scientific article synthesizes the descriptive research work called "Current state of the prevalent research competencies in teachers of the Primary Level of Tacna, 2024"This scientific article synthesizes the descriptive research work called "Current state of the prevalent research competencies in teachers of the Primary Level of Tacna, 2024" whose general objective was formulated in the following terms: To describe the current state of the prevalent research competencies in teachers of the Primary Level of Tacna, period 2024. The methodology used in the descriptive research work was observational, since there was no independent variable or insertion of any intentional program; and it is prospective, because the data collected were for the purpose of the study; it is also transversal, because a single measurement was made to the same population; and descriptive, because the statistical analysis was univariate. The design was observational, not experimental. The population consisted of 100 teachers, distributed in urban and peri-urban areas at 50% in each area; the sample is for convenience, that is, for access to some educational institutions for extra time and access to them. The technique used was Observation and the data collection instrument was the checklist. The results indicate that the current state of the research competencies prevalent in primary school teachers in Tacna, 2024, are mostly unknown. In turn, the dimensions of research competence present significant disparities. The epistemological dimension has a mean of 0.09, which suggests that it is the least known by teachers, while the communicative dimension shows a mean of 1.22, indicating a higher knowledge. This inequality can lead to an incomplete and biased understanding of what it means to be proficient in research.
