El trabajo emocional en las organizaciones: revisión de literatura y análisis.

The objective of this article is to carry out a descriptive analysis of emotional labor, its effects and the different results found through a review of literature in Spanish from 2015 to the first half of 2024, investigating the frequency and variability of publications, countries and years; as well as the most common associated factors, analyzing their main conceptualizations, research trends and notable researchers. The review is based on exhaustive searches in journals specialized in emotional labor and organizational behavior. Method: A literature review was conducted based on four key questions, using two analysis approaches: a) a descriptive statistical analysis and b) a unidimensional analysis focused on word frequency. 70 articles were located, of which 42 were selected. Results: the topic of emotional labor has received little attention in research within the field of organizational behavior and psychology, and can be analyzed in a multidimensional manner, considering both individual and organizational factors. Findings: Spain stands out as the country with the highest number of publications on the subject, the most studied population is the service sector, administrative and health personnel. Limitations: It focuses only on works published in the Spanish language, which can limit the understanding of the phenomenon by restricting access to research and global perspectives that enrich the field.
