¿Está cambiando de rumbo la gran estrategia británica?

This study examines the evolution of British Brexit politics from the perspective of grand strategy. First, this concept and its main academic debates are explored. The study then reviews the trajectory of British grand strategy and the various interpretations of the Global Britain vision. Building on this framework, the study develops a methodology based on three key prin-ciples of grand strategy: coherence, goal attainment, and internal cohesion. These variables underpin the central argument, which asserts that Global Britain and Brexit politics have impeded the formulation of a strategic vision capable of fostering a coherent state policy. Nonetheless, recent developments indicate a shift towards a renewed phase of relations with Europe. This change appears more aligned with social realities, particularly among younger generations, suggesting a transformation in the British electorate towards a closer orientation with Europe. Furthermore, the political shift following recent elections presents the new government with a unique opportunity to strategically interpret these social dynamics and redefine the United Kingdom’s position within an evolving global context
