Establecer alternativas sostenibles para un adecuado manejo y disposición de los residuos sólidos generados en el proceso de la Industria Licorera Del Cauca.

La Industria Licorera del Cauca, recognized as one of the most important companies in the department of Cauca (Colombia), faces significant challenges in the management of solid waste generated during its production process. The waste generated by this process includes a variety of materials such as plastics, cardboard, glues, labels and bands (plastic ties tapes of glass pallets ), the accumulation of which is beginning to cause operational and environmental problems for the company. In search of solutions, the company proposed establishe sustainable alternatives for the proper management and disposal of this waste in order to minimize its environmental impact and improve the efficiency of its processes. In this paper, Information was collected to provide alternatives such as reusing cardboard, recycling labels, and reincorporating plastics and glues into new products. The research highlighted that the band is the quietest waste, because it is not taken into account in the production chain, but it generates a large amount of waste, which can be used since it has greater potential for reuse, with approximately 8.000 meters wasted monthly. It is proposed to implement strategies to reuse the strap, such as the creation of baskets and other products from recycled material. The adoption of these practices will contributed to improving waste management, environmental sustainability and resource efficiency in the company.
