El Siglo de las luces y del juego: la primeridad del homo ludens
The game is presented by various authors in two groups, one from anthropology and psychosocial sciences such as the seminal works of Huizinga and Callois deriving towards special sciences, the other from philosophical anthropology and ontology as a vital and phenomenological process. The first arrives at homo ludens as a human who plays, ope-ning the whole spectrum of psychological and pedagogical activities but without separating play from homo ludens, Schiller, Heidegger and Gadamer, do so, we do not play because there is play but on the contrary, the second will say, the human is put into play, this is an existential that models a praxis in tension of the dimensions reason, passion and action explaining the ruptures between them that were created from the Enlightenment in eco-nomy and politics, it is Schiller who warns about it. Rationalism and romanticism witnessed these dichotomies still alive in the current political-economic events that turn their gaze towards a lack of balance in the dimensions, leaving Schiller’s question still unanswered. Phenomenologically, homo ludens is firstness because the game takes possession of him in the fall of being, the game transubstantiates itself in homo ludens.
