Various theories on sustainable tourism and the positive impact of tourist activities in rural areas support the importance of this initiative. In this sense, this research proposes to design a tourist circuit in the Riochico parish, which will allow this town not only to promote tourism, but will also contribute to the sustainable development of the parish, preserving its cultural heritage. Regarding the research methodology, the qualitative-quantitative approach was used; essential for the bibliographic search applied during the development and construction of the theoretical framework, in the same way the quantitative aspect from statistics was fundamental for the analysis of the data and interpretation of the results of the information generated in the Riochico parish through the instruments designed and applied during the work. Among the most notable results, it was found that the tourist offer is based on natural, cultural, heritage and gastronomic elements.
