Déficit de atención, impulsividad e hiperactividad y logro de aprendizaje en estudiantes de una institución educativa de Huancavelica
The study aimed to determine the relationship between attention deficit, impulsivity and hyperactivity and learning achievement in the area of Personal Development, Citizenship and Civics in students of an educational institution in Huancavelica during the year 2023. The research was of a basic type, with a correlational level and a descriptive correlational design. The population consisted of 98 first grade students from the Francisca Diez Canseco de Castilla school, working with a census sample. The ADHDT Test, based on the DSM-V, was used to measure attention deficit, impulsivity and hyperactivity through 36 items distributed in three subtests (hyperactivity, impulsivity and inattention). To evaluate learning achievement, documentary review was used as a technique and a registration matrix as an instrument. The data were processed using descriptive and inferential statistics, applying Spearman's Rho coefficient to analyze the correlation between the variables and the Chi square test to contrast the hypothesis. The results revealed a statistically significant (p < 0.001) and moderately strong (contingency coefficient = 0.606) association between both variables. It was concluded that there is a significant association between attention deficit, impulsivity and hyperactivity and learning achievement in the area of personal development, citizenship and civics.
