CURRENT TRENDS OF THE CRYPTOASSETS MARKET IN UKRAINE AND PROSPECTS FOR THE TRANSFORMATION OF THE GLOBAL FINANCIAL SYSTEM

The article examines the current trends of the cryptoassets market and the prospects for the transformation of the global financial system. It is noted that numerous publications are devoted to the development of the cryptoassets market in the world and in Ukraine, but a number of issues related to the regulation and use of cryptoassets in the interests of the state need to be resolved. There is no unequivocal opinion of scientists, economists and government officials regarding the prospects for the transformation of the financial environment. It is shown that electronic money represents the equivalent of real money stored in an electronic wallet. An electronic wallet is a device or software where you can store electronic money and use it: pay for goods and services, transfer to other users, exchange for cash and non-cash funds. In Ukraine, the term "electronic wallet" is approved by the Law on Payment Services and is defined as "an account for recording, storing electronic money and carrying out transactions with it". It is justified that e-money, issued by the issuer of electronic money for payment transactions, is a tool for non-cash payments in the national payment currency. With the help of special software, the owner of electronic money can buy goods, transfer this money to other people, exchange it for other electronic money, give it as a gift. And can also receive e-money from other people. In fact, this is full-fledged money that can be used indefinitely. If the owner of electronic money wants to turn it into cash or non-cash, he applies to the bank. The bank performs the conversion.
