Aún queda mucho género por cortar: una autobiografía performática
The domestic, family, religious and institutional settings composed a perormative pedagogy that reads with the body. Through training practices and normativediscourses, we are molded to conform to gender expectations as shown in illustrations, costumes, expressive drawings and other disciplines such as lyrics. Education, inthissense, is a process of subjectivation that produces docile and compliant bodies. Recognizing the subversive potential of education, analyzing the experiencesof students, teachers and one's own, which resist gender norms, shows howeducationcanbe a space for transformation and the creation of new identities. The body can be used as a toool to resist and transforn socila norms. Performace, both in costumes, gestures and actions, becomes a way of expressing and challenging gender identities.
