The article examines the terminological apparatus of the electronic learning environment, in particular the typology of electronic educational resources, which significantly affects the logical and compositional structure of their various types. The relevance of the topic lies in the need for in-depth research into the features and problems of preparing electronic educational resources for higher education as a new functional type of educational literature. They are considered not in the context of the concept of a printed publication, but in the system of global informatization of communication of the modern educational process.
