The current state of innovation and scientific-technical activities of enterprises is a key factor in increasing their competitiveness, adapting to global market changes, and achieving sustainable economic development. Amid rapid scientific and technological progress and digitalization, innovations have transformed from an advantage into an essential component for market survival. This paper examines the main aspects of innovation activities of modern enterprises, including technological modernization, digital solution implementation, research and development (R&D) advancement, and the development of new products and processes. Key challenges faced by enterprises are analyzed, such as limited innovation funding, low integration of R&D results into production, dependency on imported technologies, and human resource issues. The study also focuses on the external and internal factors that influence the innovation potential of enterprises. External factors include the role of government support, tax incentives, innovation clusters, and venture capital support. Internal factors encompass enterprises' readiness for change, strategic vision of management, organizational culture, and development of skilled personnel. The research highlights the importance of innovation strategies in ensuring productivity and stability for enterprises in the long term, as well as the need to integrate cutting-edge technologies across all production and management stages.
