Abstract

The article examines the concept of "motivation" and the influence of motivation on the activation of the activities of IT employees. The basic and modern theories of motivation of IT personnel are systematized and clarified. It is proven that in the current conditions, personnel motivation is the driving force for the activation of the activities of IT enterprise employees. It is established that the core of motivation of IT enterprise personnel is remuneration. A scientific methodology for developing mechanisms for managing personnel incentives is proposed, which reflects a general idea of the logical chain of actions of managers aimed at increasing the effectiveness of personnel incentives, and consists of three management tasks: establishing employee motivation factors, personnel motivation, and determining personnel motivational expectations. In accordance with the concept of management by enterprise objectives, the basic principles of motivational management are considered, which make it possible to build an effective system of personnel motivation at IT enterprises. It was found that the effective operation of an IT enterprise and the effective use of personnel occurs through the identification of new motivational needs of the individual and is one of the main tasks of motivational management, which will ensure the creation of an effective personnel management system and will positively affect the development of enterprises and increase their attractiveness in the labor market. It has been established that one of the main results of the application of motivational management is that the focus of the manager's attention shifts from how much the employee knows how to do the job to how much he wants to do it, which ultimately determines the final productivity of the employee, where it is seen whether the employee has the resources to perform the task. Therefore, determining the internal motivational components of the personality is the main task of motivation in order to activate the activities of employees in all areas. It has been proven that the motivation of IT enterprise personnel will ensure the creation of an effective IT personnel management system, which will positively affect the production process. It has been determined that management theories consider human resources interchangeable, and this is significantly different from motivational management, since motivational management is aimed at activating employee activity through internal motives. It has been proven that to date, a universal way of motivating employees, including employees of IT enterprises, has not yet been found, and this issue remains relevant and requires further study
