Psychological Capital (PsyCap), comprising self-efficacy, optimism, hope, and resilience, is crucial for students' academic success and overall well-being. This study investigates the impact of chatbots in educational applications on students' PsyCap. A mixed-methods approach will be employed, involving quantitative surveys, and structured interviews. The survey, administered to students using chatbots, measured the four components of PsyCap using established scales. Structured interviews provided deeper insights into students' experiences and perceptions. Preliminary findings indicate a positive correlation between chatbot usage and enhanced PsyCap levels among students. The study investigates the potential impact of chatbots in educational applications on students' PsyCap. A mixed-methods approach is proposed, combining quantitative surveys, and structured interviews. It is predicted that survey results will show increased self-efficacy, particularly in seeking academic help and managing coursework. Structured interviews are expected to reveal that chatbots foster optimism and hope by providing timely support and personalized learning experiences. This study anticipates highlighting the potential of chatbots to enhance PsyCap, contributing to better academic performance and psychological well-being. Future studies should examine long-term effects and methods to optimize advantages while reducing potential disadvantages.

Abstract

A number of industries, including education, have seen a transformation thanks to chatbots, which streamline administrative and instructional tasks. Their potential to change education in a variety of ways had a big impact.
