Insights from systems thinking and complexity science to strengthen food systems frameworks

Overlooking the food systems' complex and systemic nature hinders transformations. We aim to enhance food systems frameworks from a system and complexity (STCS) lens. We developed an STCS rubric to assess frameworks and identify enhancement paths. Revealing complementarities across frameworks enables inner dialogue and learning. Engaging with STCS builds solid foundations to inform food systems discussions.
