Going paperless with OneNote:enhancing engagement and collaboration in tutorials
Student engagement is widely recognized as essential to effective learning (Trowler, 2010); however, traditional approaches focused on attendance and passive learning are no longer sufficient. Students are calling for more holistic support: high-quality teaching, timely feedback, career preparation, and a stronger sense of belonging within their academic communities (Neves et al., 2024), through inclusive learning environments and meaningful collaboration with both peers and staff.
