Des rats et des hommes : étude des biais contextuels dans l'apprentissage par renforcement chez l'homme et le rongeur
Context plays a significant role in economic decisions, yet its impact on experience-based choices is poorly understood. In a series of experiments conducted with humans and rats, we discovered that context introduces systematic biases in value encoding, transcending species, elicitation methods, and learning modalities, and demonstrated that the composition of choice sets during learning tasks dictates participants’ responses post-learning. Importantly, our results challenge the idea that choice repetition biases are the primary mechanism underlying these effects, contributing to the ongoing debate on the functional form of context-dependence.
