“What’s My Research?” with Dr. Tapadhir Das and Dr. Ken Albala

Please join us on Thursday, October 17, from noon to 1 pm in the Yosemite Classroom (1st floor of the Library) for “What’s My Research?” featuring Dr. Tapadhir Das (Computer Sciences) and Dr. Ken Albala (History). Dr. Das’s research centers on developing AI-enabled solutions for protecting cyber-physical systems from cybersecurity threats. He also focuses on the security of the AI-enabled solutions deployed within the cyber-physical systems to make them more resilient to threats. Dr. Albala has been fermenting vegetables, meats, cheese, bread and wine for many years, but has finally decided to write an Atlas of Fermentation, to be published by the University of California Press. The range of fermented foods around the world is much greater than he could ever have imagined. A light lunch will be served.
