Muş Ekolojisinde Yetiştirilen Yerel Üzüm Çeşitlerinde Işık Rejimine Bağlı Gelişen Yaprak Morfofizyolojik Adaptasyonlar

This study was conducted to evaluate the variation in morphological, micromorphological, and physiological traits of ten local grapevine cultivars (Vitis vinifera L.) grown under the ecological conditions of Muş, Türkiye, under two different light positions: sun-exposed and shaded. Investigated parameters included leaf length, width, area, petiole length, and petiole angle (morphological); stomatal length, width, pore length, pore width, and stomatal density (micromorphological); and SPAD chlorophyll content (physiological). Data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA, Duncan’s multiple range test, and Pearson correlation analysis. Results indicated that shaded leaves exhibited significant increases in leaf size traits, while sun-exposed leaves showed higher stomatal density and SPAD values. Notably, cultivars such as ‘Keçi Memesi’ and ‘Güz Üzümü’ maintained high SPAD values even under shade, suggesting a potential tolerance to reduced light. These findings highlight that structural and physiological responses are shaped by both genetic and environmental factors and underline the practical significance of light-driven plasticity in vineyard management.
