Avaliação do desempenho profissional de professores de Educação Física

The scientific results that appear in this article characterize the evaluation of the professional performance of Physical Education teachers in the municipality of Holguín. The research process began with how to develop a scientific instrument (rubric) that would allow improving the performance evaluation process of Physical Education teachers. To determine the deficiencies of the evaluation process, scientific research methods were used, among which were used: logical history, document analysis, theoretically, and survey, group interview, empirically, which allowed corroborating the existence reality of the problem, referring to insufficiencies in the evaluation of the professional performance of teachers. The main results offered are the current state of the problem, and an evaluation rubric, which brings us closer to the process of evaluating the professional performance of the Physical Education teacher with greater objectivity and equity. This process constitutes a necessary study to create appropriate and objective interventions with a view to improving the process of evaluating the performance of these teachers. The results were scientifically endorsed by a group of experts on the subject, to whom the Delphi method was applied, which guaranteed their credibility
