Supplementary Material: Emotions and Experiences on the Road: Unveiling Sentiments and UX in Automotive Infotainment through YouTube Comments
This supplementary material accompanies the study "Emotions and Experiences on the Road: Unveiling Sentiments and UX in Automotive Infotainment through YouTube Comments", which delves into user interactions with automotive infotainment systems. With the integration of cutting-edge technology in modern vehicles, infotainment systems are pivotal to enhancing user satisfaction and engagement. However, due to the complexity of these systems and users' diverse preferences, understanding user sentiment is critical to identifying factors that impact user experience (UX) positively and negatively. In this study, YouTube comments are an invaluable data source for capturing spontaneous user feedback. Using a hybrid methodology combining ChatGPT's automated sentiment analysis with human validation, the study categorizes comments into positive, neutral, and negative sentiments, further aligning them with Hassenzahl's UX dimensions: usability, utility, stimulation, identification, and evocation. The results provide deep insights into user perceptions, facilitating targeted improvements in infotainment system design and aiming to foster a more satisfying and engaging user experience.
