THE IMPORTANCE OF WOMEN ACTIVITIES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF SCIENCE, EDUCATION, AND SPIRITUALITY

The role of women in the domains of science, education, and spirituality has evolved significantly throughout history, despite persistent gender-based challenges. Women continue to face numerous barriers that hinder their full participation in intellectual, scientific, and spiritual pursuits. Although women have achieved notable successes, persistent issues such as gender bias, social norms, restricted access to education, and the underrepresentation of women in leadership positions continue to impede progress. These challenges can be addressed by fostering an inclusive and equitable environment that allows women to excel across all sectors of society. This paper presents examples from Central and South Asia to illustrate these points.
