GESTÃO ESCOLAR: UM DIÁLOGO EM ABERTO
When we talk about school management as “open dialogue,” we are adopting a more horizontal, democraticapproach focused on active listening within the school. This is especially important (and challenging) in schoolswith complex organizational structures, where there are many stakeholders, sectors, and levels of decision-making. Open dialogue in school management is based on a management stance that is not confined to meetingsbetween principals and coordinators alone. This openness occurs when we create real spaces for speaking andlistening, processes in which teachers, students, families, staff, and the external community have an active voice— and more than that, they have real influence on the school’s decisions.
