A Motivated Derivation of the Z2/Arf Anomaly's 1/2 Contribution to Holographic Complexity Offset
This note outlines a motivated derivation for the contribution of ∆C0 = 1/2 to the holo-graphic complexity offset arising from a (2 + 1)-dimensional Z2 fermionic anomaly (charac-terized by the Arf invariant). The derivation combines established physical understandingof anomaly inflow actions with the Complexity=Action (CA) conjecture. While relying oncertain physically motivated normalizations for the inflow action, this result serves as a sig-nificant benchmark. We briefly discuss how advanced Noncommutative Geometry (NCG)frameworks, such as the proposed Quantized Complexity Offsets (QCOG), aim to derivesuch normalizations and explore deeper dynamical implications from first principles.
