Synthesis of Silver Nanoparticles: A Mini-Review
Nanotechnology has revolutionized consumer industry and has contributed to the development of all scientific fields including medicine. Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) are characterized by unique physical and chemical properties along with their extremely small size making them widely used. In this article, we briefly review methods for preparing silver nanoparticles. There are three methods to prepare these nanoparticles: chemical, physical and biological. Green biosynthesis of AgNPs is environmentally safe because it does not use toxic ingredients during the mixing of nanoparticles.
