Paper 17: Quantum Time Asymmetry and CPT Violation from Directional Defect Dynamics
This paper proposes a physical origin for quantum time asymmetry and CPT violation based on directional dynamics of defect propagation in the Holosphere lattice. Unlike standard quantum field theories, which treat time reversal as a mathematical symmetry unless explicitly broken, the Holosphere framework models spacetime as a discrete network of spinning spheres whose phase-aligned defects define causal flow. We argue that time asymmetry emerges from radial gradients in rotational phase, which bias defect transport and angular coherence in a preferred temporal direction. This directional strain also influences charge and parity transformations, leading to emergent CPT asymmetry—not as a fundamental violation, but as a structural outcome of coherence geometry. We derive a coherence-driven tunneling asymmetry equation, formalize a local time-asymmetry field T(x), and show how phase incompatibility across coherence horizons naturally leads to asymmetric visibility. Testable predictions include directional decay asymmetries in kaons, CPT-odd neutrino oscillation rates, and asymmetric phase decoherence in rotating quantum interferometers.
