Research data management at the European XFEL

This presentation gives an introduction to the European XFEL, its data collection processes, type and nature of the data. Challenges of data complexity and produced data volumes, in particular for data management are explained. Furthermore an overview on the new scientific data policy, data reduction, data management plans and some data services including workflow tools, the data catalog and electronic lab notebooks is presented.
