Open Science and FAIR Research Data Management in the Geosciences (and beyond): from basic concepts to EU regulations

This presentation provides an introduction to Open Science and FAIR Research Data Management requirements and practices in the Geosciences (and beyond). It was delivered as a part of the programme of the Workshop on Open Research Data Lifecycle and data management organised on 12/02/2025 at Luleå tekniska universitet. The presentation is an an adaptation of the Learning Path and Training Materials on "Open Science and Research Data Management in Solid Earth Sciences" created by EPOS for the Skills4EOSC project. The PPT version comes with presenter's notes to maximise the reusability of this resource by anyone interested.
