ROLE-PLAYING METHOD FOR LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
This research seeks to investigate and assess the implementation of the role-playing technique as a method for fostering language development in children within primary schools. The research explored how the role-playing technique enhances speaking abilities in children between the ages of 6 and 8. In the study, a qualitative research methodology was employed. The research design was formulated by choosing pertinent participants, including elementary school students and teachers engaged in learning role-playing at State Elementary School. The findings indicated that the role-playing technique greatly aided in the language development of children in elementary education. Engaging actively and interacting socially in role-playing exercises enhances children's speaking abilities by making them more confident and expressive.
