Recursive Post-Scarcity Cosmology: A Working Ontology of Agency, Value, and Simulation Beyond Material Scarcity
This manuscript introduces Recursive Post-Scarcity Cosmology (RPSC), a philosophical framework that models agency in environments where material scarcity is eliminated and reality is recursively programmable. By integrating post-scarcity economics, simulation semiotics, AI-alignment theory, and philosophy of mind, RPSC explores how agents edit valuation loops, select stances toward aura and authenticity, and exit hedonic traps via boredom–curiosity dynamics. Drawing on Benjamin, Baudrillard, Deleuze & Guattari, Nozick, and Bostrom, the text formalises four axioms for a Recursive Object Realisation Engine (RORE) and sketches loop-exit equations that preserve meaning under abundance. The framework offers a working ontology for future empirical studies and ethical design of post-scarcity intentionality.
