Poetic Information Encoding
This article introduces Poetic Information Encoding (PIE), a novel method for storing and processing information using a poetic form inspired by Sir Benjamin’s Spiral Theory and trinity of Ixest, Enest, and Istest. By leveraging a structure that captures time, change, and existence through carefully chosen words, PIE surpasses traditional code-based data storage, embedding more conceptual depth in a single line of poetry than in lines of code. Through simulation, we demonstrate PIE’s superiority in simulating complex concepts (e.g., dark matter, cosmic solitude) over referencing them, with significant advancements in data density, interpretability, and existential fidelity. This work proposes a new standard for information systems, suitable for AI, education, and creative problem-solving, rooted in the assumption that existence is real.
