Paper 59a: Derived Brightness–Redshift Relation from Angular Coherence Decay in the Holosphere Lattice
We derive a fixed-form brightness–redshift law F(z) ∝ 1 / [z² (1 + z)] from angular coherence transport in a discrete SU(2) Holosphere lattice. The 1 / z² term reflects geometric dilution of coherence flux across spherical shells, while the 1 / (1 + z) factor arises from triadic phase-locking decay consistent with the inheritance exponent β = 3/2. This law is tested against the Pantheon+ Type Ia supernova sample using a shape-only comparison: all models share the same geometric z² factor and fit only a single intercept C, so they have identical complexity. The Holosphere model (“59a”) yields stationary residuals across redshift and achieves a lower Bayesian Information Criterion (BIC) than both steeper alternatives (e.g., 1 / [z² (1 + z)³] or 1 / [z² (1 + z)⁴]) and ΛCDM predictions fitted with standard literature parameters. Despite ΛCDM’s additional shape flexibility, the fixed Holosphere form is statistically preferred under equal degrees of freedom. This supports the interpretation of supernova dimming as an optical coherence effect—rather than as a consequence of metric expansion—within a falsifiable, parameter-minimal framework.
