KU Leuven bootcamps - Getting professors fit and ready for MOOC creation

Since KU Leuven started making MOOCs in 2014, we’ve been searching for different ways to on-board and train our professors in our qualitative MOOC making process. In 2021, we started organizing bootcamps to scale up our support while maintaining our qualitative design and development process. In this lightning talk, we will highlight different aspects of our approach. We will look back on the past 10 years, both at the time before the introduction of the bootcamps as well as after. We will also look ahead and share our ideas for staying future-proof in the face of challenges like GenAI.
