Aedeagus shaft distinctly upturned at apical third; without processes (Fig. 2F–G). Female terminalia: Female unknown. Etymology: The name of the new species refers to the type locality, which is in Parque Nacional do Cipó, an important national park in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Notes: M. cipoensis resembles M. spatulata, as they both have the pygofer with a ventral process spatulate. However, the new species can be distinguished by the absence of dorsal process on the pygofer; the overall shape of the pygofer and styles; and aedeagus atrium more robust.
