Breaking the Loop: Observer Ethics and the Architecture of Artificial Universes
This is the complete v4 edition of the philosophical-structural essay “Breaking the Loop.” It proposes a recursive framework in which artificial universes (AOU) are not merely simulated realms, but structurally constructed extensions capable of surpassing their parent cosmologies in curvature, entropy, and meaning. Featuring new visualizations, glossary enhancements, and a promoted ethics section (“Ethical Bifurcation”), this edition addresses the physical consequences of energy conservation and causal disruption when transferring matter into an AOU. The paper culminates in a dual ethical clause: “Do it / Never do it,” confronting the observer with their ultimate metaphysical agency.
