A Five-Dimensional Geometric Framework for Unifying Quantum Gravity and General Relativity via Time Delay-Induced Curvature
This work proposes a five-dimensional (5D) geometric model in which time delay—caused jointly by mass (gravitational time dilation) and speed (special-relativistic time dilation)—acts as the primary driver of spacetime curvature. By elevating time delay to a scalar field τ(x,w)\tau(x,w)τ(x,w) in a higher-dimensional spacetime, the approach provides a unifying lens through which to view General Relativity (GR), Quantum Mechanics (QM), and prospects for Quantum Gravity (QG). Although it does not predict new physical effects or deviate from established results, this interpretive framework offers a single conceptual source (the time-delay field) for both macroscopic gravitational behavior and microscopic quantum phenomena, bridging the gap between GR and QM in a unified geometric setting. The lack of contradictions with current experiments underscores its consistency, while its reinterpretation of time dilation processes in a 5D context highlights its novelty within the landscape of extra-dimensional theories.
