Research out patient protocol management at Somali sudanese Hospital

Abstract Effective outpatient protocol management is essential for ensuring high-quality patient care, reducing wait times, and improving hospital efficiency. This study examines the management of outpatient protocols at Somali Sudanese Specialist Hospital, focusing on risk factors, patient satisfaction, and the impact of protocol management on service delivery. Using a mixed-methods approach, data was collected through surveys, interviews, and hospital records. The findings indicate that while standardized outpatient protocols improve service efficiency, challenges such as staff shortages, inconsistent adherence to protocols, and long patient wait times affect overall patient satisfaction. Additionally, socio-demographic factors play a role in patient perceptions of care quality. The study highlights the need for better implementation of outpatient management protocols, enhanced staff training, and improved hospital infrastructure to optimize service delivery. Recommendations include adopting digital patient management systems, increasing staff capacity, and implementing patient-centered care models to enhance the efficiency of outpatient services. These findings provide valuable insights for hospital administrators, policymakers, and healthcare providers aiming to improve outpatient care in Somalia.
