Unifying Reality and Responsibility: Applying the Unified Probabilistic Reality Framework to Space Exploration Risks and Reflecting on a Collaborative Path Not Taken
This paper explores the intersection of the Unified Probabilistic Reality Framework(UPRF), a novel non-quantum theory of reality, with contemporary space explorationchallenges, specifically the space debris risks posed by SpaceX’s Starlink constellation. On May 4, 2025, SpaceX launched 29 Starlink V2 Mini Optimized satellites, adding toa constellation of over 7,000, which constitutes approximately 78% of all active satellitesin orbit. The author, a pioneer in early internet infrastructure and cannabis advocacy inCanada, applies UPRF to propose innovative solutions for mitigating space debris risks, leveraging concepts like gravity as a decay flux and non-local Infinite Probability Field(IPF) dynamics. The paper also reflects on the author’s early contributions—runningthe northernmost FidoNet hub in 1994, co-founding the Marijuana Party of Canada, andleading the Nation’s Capital Compassion Society—and imagines a counterfactual scenariowhere Elon Musk, then a student, collaborated with the author. Such a partnership couldhave shaped a future where space exploration aligns with cosmic unity and social good, potentially reducing the risks now evident in Starlink’s orbital dominance.
