Graphical representation of medical statistics data. Diagrams, cartograms, map diagrams. Types of diagrams. Requirements for constructing diagrams.
The graphical representation of medical statistics forms a critical element of healthcare data analysis, through which practitioners, researchers, and policymakers can accurately read complex information. This paper explores the necessity of visualizing medical data through various forms of diagrams, e.g., bar graphs, line graphs, pie charts, scatter plots, and cartograms. It emphasizes elementary necessities for creating good diagrams through clarity, precision, relevance, and beauty. In addition, the article highlights instruments and software supporting the creation of good visualizations and reporting case studies of good implementation in public health. Ultimately, this study demonstrates the potency of visual communication in expanding understanding of medical statistics, facilitating an informed decision-making process, and improving healthcare provision
