STUDY OF CANTILEVER BEAM BENDING: THEORETICAL CALCULATIONS, LABORATORY EXPERIMENTS AND ANSYS SIMULATION
This article explores the bending behavior of a cantilever beam fixed at one end and subjected to a load at the free end. A theoretical model was derived to calculate stress and displacement, and results were compared with both laboratory experiments and finite element simulations using ANSYS. The main goal of the study is to highlight the accuracy, speed, and practicality of modern simulation tools like ANSYS in solving mechanical problems. Unlike traditional methods, ANSYS enables quick and precise solutions by discretizing complex structures into small elements. The simulation results closely match the theoretical and experimental outcomes, confirming the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
