INDICATORS OF TECHNOLOGICAL QUALITY OF TABLE MOZAMBIQUE TILAPIA GROWN IN RAS
In May 2025, table-sized Mozambique tilapia, Oreochromis mossambicus, grown in the recirculating aquaculture system of the Institute of Zoology were analyzed. The sample included fish with a total body length of 23.5–33.0 cm, standard body length of 19.5–28.0 cm, and total body weight of 246.6–806.3 g. The dependence of standard length on total body length was SL = 0.8304 * TL + 0.3756 (r = 0.98). The dependence of total body weight on standard length was W = 0.00483.613 (r = 0.98). The indices of linear dimensions of fish organs from the standard body length are given (including the length of the carcass - on average 69.5%, the greatest body height 43.9%), the indices of organ mass from the total body mass are given (including the mass index of gutted fish on average 87.4%, carcass 59.3%, fillet 28.2%).
