CARDIOVASCULAR COMPLICATIONS IN PATIENTS WITH CORONARY HEART DISEASE ASSOCIATED WITH TYPE 2 DIABETES MELLITUS WHO UNDERWENT ENDOVASCULAR MYOCARDIAL REVASCULARIZATION

Abstract There is an increase in the number of patients with coronary heart disease suffering from type 2 diabetes mellitus. In the presence of diabetes mellitus, the course of coronary heart disease is aggravated due to the progression of atherosclerosis. In the development of atherosclerosis is noted the role of cytokines, which are a reflection of local and systemic inflammation. Insulin resistance, dyslipidemia in patients with diabetes mellitus increase the risk of adverse outcomes of coronary heart disease.
