Planetary Collapse Ratios: A μ/ν Field Model for Structural Classification of Distant Worlds

This paper introduces a planetary classification system based on collapse field dynamics. Using the relationship between collapse resistance (μ) and inertial memory (ν), we define a scalar collapse symmetry value σ = μ/ν. Planets with σ ≈ 1 are classified as field-balanced—capable of recursive structural stability. We apply the model to Earth, Mercury, Kepler-442b, and K2-18b, using observable environmental data to infer structural identity. The framework offers a new diagnostic approach for evaluating exoplanet viability and collapse resilience.

Abstract

This paper introduces a planetary classification system based on collapse field dynamics. Using the relationship between collapse resistance (μ) and inertial memory (ν), we define a scalar collapse symmetry value σ = μ/ν. Planets with σ ≈ 1 are classified as field-balanced—capable of recursive structural stability. We apply the model to Earth, Mercury, Kepler-442b, and K2-18b, using observable environmental data to infer structural identity. The framework offers a new diagnostic approach for evaluating exoplanet viability and collapse resilience.
