Quantum-Bio-Cognition: A Multiscale Perspective on Anticipatory Systems
We propose a unified framework, Quantum-Bio-Cognition (QBC), to synthesize discoveries across five distinct research fields: radical-pair quantum biology, predictive neuro-immunology, higher-order connectomics, organoid intelligence, and cosmic-scale entanglement. We argue that each of these fields reveals a common underlying design principle: the maintenance of quantum or biological coherence long enough to perform probabilistic forecasting and trigger sub-second defensive or adaptive actions. By integrating these currently siloed findings, the QBC framework provides a multiscale perspective on anticipatory systems, from the molecular to the cognitive, and outlines a roadmap with testable milestones for developing novel bio-inspired technologies.
