Pierwsze stwierdzenie Choerades fimbriatus (Meigen, 1820) (Diptera: Asilidae) we Wrocławiu
The first record of Choerades fimbriatus (Meigen, 1820) (Diptera: Asilidae) in Wroclaw.Choerades fimbriatus (Meigen, 1820) is a rare species that has so far been reported from only two locationsin different parts of Poland. This paper documents the species’ first observation in the Lower Silesia region. Its presence at as many as eight sites in Wroclaw suggests it is relatively common in this area. The presenceof at least one fragment of a tree trunk in an advanced state of decay was crucial for the occurrence of thespecies.
