Optimization of the Interference Process in Multi-Level Quantum Systems via STIRAP
In this work, we aim to optimize the interference process underlying the Stimulated Raman Adiabatic Passage (STIRAP) in complex multi-level quantum systems with more than three states. By precisely tuning the temporal profiles and amplitudes of the driving laser pulses, we seek to enhance the efficiency of coherent population transfer while minimizing undesired transitions and decoherence effects. This optimization is crucial for improving the accuracy and robustness of quantum state control in practical implementations of STIRAP-based protocols in systems of increased complexity.
