INTEGRATING SWARM INTELLIGENCE DRIVEN AUTONOMOUS DRONES WITH REUSABLE ROCKET RE-ENTRY PLATFORMS FOR ON-ORBIT PAYLOAD DEPLOYMENT AND REAL-TIME SPACE SURFACE MAPPING

In the evolving landscape of space exploration, integrating swarm intelligence into autonomous drone systems and coupling them with reusable rocket platforms offers a promising leap in on-orbit payload deployment and real-time planetary mapping. This paper investigates a hybrid architecture that leverages cooperative drone behaviors for synchronized deployment operations from reusable launch vehicles. The approach addresses limitations in traditional satellite launches by enhancing flexibility, redundancy, and surface scanning resolution. Results suggest that the integration of swarm-based decision algorithms can significantly improve payload precision and environmental responsiveness.
